B BBaa...ba..... Oink.... Oink..... ... ... * ZOO? YES, WE WENT TO UENO ZOO...!! That, ladies and gentlemen, is a very smart gorilla! HE KNOWS how cold it is and decides to wear a stylish yellow hoodie for himself LOL. Now, if you all know it's winter and still not covering up like my friend here, you know who's smarter by now. HE HE HE HE Cut the story short, I went to Ueno Zoo on the Sunday of the... 2nd! So it is almost 2 weeks ago and please forgive me I have not been updating due to various reasons. I had to say it was one of the best days in my life.... Not because I was led around by fugu-chan but it was because I had the opportunity to eat in Ocha-ya (Tea houses) like in the olden days. Anyways, let's start with Ueno Zoo. This zoo opens at 9:30 am- 5 pm (Ticket office closes at 4 pm) and viewing for some animals ends at 4.30 pm so if you are like me and Fugu, you have to pull the English map suitable for quick reading before the time runs out. LOL The admission ti...

25th Dec: Christmas Dinner, Church and 3 Mos of Us

Image
WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS! MERRY ... MERRY ... MERRY ... CHRISTMAS! God bless YOU!! Wow, can you believe that it's Christmas already? I went to Church from 2 pm - 5.30 pm for our Christmas Celebration to remind us again what is the meaning of Christmas. We had a guest speaker, his name is Hiroshi Sakakibara and He talked about "Holy Child" which is Jesus Christ. As a believer, I believe Christmas is to remind us that it is all about Jesus Christ, born into this world to wash away our sins. We should have died and just burned away in Hell because of our sins but redeemed by His blood on the Holy cross. We originally were created as creations that are Holy, but because Adam and Eve fell into sin (death) we have to suffer (experience death). I know Christmas for those who are non-believers mean dinner, exchange gifts and Christmas tree. But believe me, I also DID all that but not many people know the meaning of Christmas. A person who lives under the same house, apparent...

Shu Uemura 2010 Christmas Collection

Image
Shu oh Shu......................................... What can I say about Shu? Shu Uemura's been my favourite make-up brand ever since I discovered his pencil concealer. After that, I just fell in love one by one, his Foundation Architect which I am onto my 2nd bottle and now his Christmas 2010 Make up Collection. For your information, I only bought 2 items. This palette above, and the deck-built lip gloss-lip stick. Then of course the colours!!! I chose this palette instead of the more glamorous one because EVERYONE IS JUST BORING. Yes, BORING! Same colours, same gold - brown - colours, put some COLOURS in your life i mean Face :p hahahaha Anyways, The turquoise blue, the gray glitter colour and the slightly aquamarine blue are super soft and easy to apply and I have to inform that they stay on! It is better if you use primer first as base then apply your eye-shadows. The 2 colours at the sides are your eyeliner as well as highlighter. The darker one is the eyeliner which is browni...

Image
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! THIS is my 24th birthday celebrated in Japan, it's my 2nd time so, it feels as if I am in Japan for 2 years but actually not. It's just that my birthday is in December (7th to be exact!!) so I get to celebrate it! So this is the people who celebrated my birthday with me!!! We made CHEESE FONDUE for the night!!! YEAY!! And with generous KANPAI(s) with NO-ALCOHOL, because I am alcohol intolerant, we started our dining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe The cheese was OK, as usual, Cheese or any dairy products in Japan is very weak in taste, it felt as if I was eating cream instead. LOL not cheese. But since everybody was so nice, I love them alot, it really made my day! And, since Fugu-chan worked like crazy during last week, I assumed he is not going to come AT ALL. But HE CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only spent 2 hours in Tokyo and back to Tochigi which takes like 1.5 hours by Shinkansen one way. He...

Tsukiji Party

Image
On the Wednesday of 勤労感謝の日(Labor Thanksgiving Day) which is the 23rd of November, I went out with my Church friends to Tsukiji . Since it is a public holiday, we decided to go to Sushizanmai! (LEFT): In front of me: Stella --> her friend, Scan, Mac. (Right): Me, Victor, Aji, Franky. Sushizanmai is A Sushi-chained-restaurant, and pretty well-known here in Tokyo. They have 3 restaurants in Tsukiji and I went to the Honten (the mother resto). They open 24/7, HALLELUJAH to SUSHI and SUSHIZANMAI. LOLLLLLL I succeeded in persuading the 3 people on my table to eat ABURITORO , SHAKO and AKAGAI . hahahahahahhahahahahhahahaha How to get to Tsukiji: -By Hibiya Sen (subway): Get off at H10 (Tsukiji Station/ Tsukiji Eki), take Exit 1 and walk pass Hongan-Ji (the European Temple looking building) and cross the Big Intersection. (U only need to walk straight no right or left turns/crossings) and you will directly see the big placard SUSHIZANMAI. - By Oedo Sen (subway): Get off at TsukijiShijo Stat...

On Saturday the 20th, we had a KOREAN BBQ Party!!!! Damn Awesome! The master chef, Choi-san ( Left) from Korea is so nice he bought all these awesome awesome Korean meat, and made 2 types of soup for us here the residents of Oakhouse Ryogoku! We had all the salad lined up, the soy-paste, the yummiest slices of grilled beef, the super mouth-salivating soup and rice, it was just never ending party! I told him that we should have this once per month but he said that the next time we have one it will be me (Indonesian food). Geeze, making traditional food is NEVER easy. Oh, before we started I made a starter it was Fried Chicken Mayonnaise. Everyone LOVED IT. Here is the picture! ( above !). LOL Then, I received a cocoa-coated chocolate cake from Fugu-chan, he brought it to me in the morning. He said that he bought it on the lobby of the fanciest hotel in Ryogoku.
